Prayer to the Holy Spirit
Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle within them the fire of your love.
V. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created,
R. And you shall renew the face of the earth.
Let us pray:

O God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit did instruct the hearts of your faithful,
grant that by the same Spirit we may be truly wise and ever rejoice in his consolation. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Daily Act of Offering
To you, Immaculate Heart of Mary,
we consecrate ourselves –
our hearts, minds, will and lives
and all those works we undertake
so they may be for the glory of God,
for the sake of the Gospel
and the salvation of souls.
Holy Mother, our Queen and our Joy,
give to our hearts the dimensions of yours
and form us in the image of your beloved Son.

Let us pray:
Eternal Father, you sent your Son among us to make of us one people dedicated to your will and restored through grace to sing forever of your glorious works. As he offered his life on the Cross for our sake, laying down his life for his friends, accept the gift we make of our prayer and sacrifices, offered in union with him, for those in the theatrical and cinematic arts. Grant us the grace to fulfill our obligations to you and our neighbour, building up the Body of Christ, the Church, and trusting in the intercession of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in you.

Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us.

St Genesius, pray for us.

A Sixth Joyful Mystery of the Rosary:
The Hidden Years
“He went down with them then and came to Nazareth and lived under their authority. His mother stored up all these things in her heart. And Jesus increased in wisdom, in stature, and in favour with God and with men.” (Lk 3:51-52)

In this mystery we reflect on the hidden years when Jesus lived quietly in Nazareth in the midst of a family and a community. Living the ordinariness of life, the Incarnate Son of God entered into the experience of humanity, blessing and sanctifying it with his presence. Jesus, God-made-Man, transforms human life and brings us to understand that he is in our midst calling us to live our lives in union with him. As members of the Fraternity we pray that those we remember may recognize the presence of Christ in their lives.

III

We fly to your patronage O Holy Mother of God, despise not our prayers in our necessities, but deliver us from all dangers, ever glorious and Blessed Virgin.

[Intercessions for the Pope, the Fraternity, the sick, particular persons or the Holy Souls may be added here]

Prayer to St Genesius
Actor and Martyr

Holy St Genesius,
martyr for Christ,
by the grace of the Holy Spirit
through your acting
you came to discover
the truth of the Christian faith.
In your first profession of that faith
you were baptized through the shedding
of your blood,
offering your life for the praise and glory
of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Pray for those who dedicate their lives
to the theatrical and cinematic arts.
Like you may they find the presence
of the Lord in their work
and generously open their hearts
to his teaching,
living it in the midst of the challenges
and demands of their calling.

In this novena, I remember most especially…., commending him/her to your care.

Let us pray:
Eternal Father, in your love you call all men and women to come to know you and to share in your divine life. Through the intercession of your martyr, Genesius, who responded so generously to the grace of conversion, grant that the same grace may be given to those who as yet do not know you, and may be renewed in those who do. We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
