“The Council shall be the governing body of the Fraternity under the moderatorship and pastoral care of the Father Director.”
Constitution, Article 8.1
“The duties of the Council shall be:
(i) To govern the Fraternity under the moderatorship of the Father Director.
(ii) To safeguard the spiritual foundation and motives of the Fraternity.
(iii) To formulate policy and initiatives.
(iv) To take such steps as will promote the interest and well-being of the Fraternity.
(v) To lay down Particular Norms for the governance of the Fraternity, Council,
regional chapters and the works of the Fraternity.”
Constitution, Article 8.11
On the 19th January 2007, an acting Council was put in place to govern the beginning of the Fraternity until approval was received on the 27th August 2007 when the first Council was then formed. Each member of the Council assumes specific duties to help promote the Fraternity and its mission.
